Ο Ευρωπαϊκός Σύνδεσμος Συντονιστών Erasmus (EAEC) και το Ευρωπαϊκό Γραφείο Κύπρου (EΓΚ), σε συνεργασία με τους Φοιτητικούς Ομίλους των Κυπριακών Πανεπιστημίων, ανακοινώνουν τη διοργάνωση του πρώτου Ακαδημαϊκού Φοιτητικού Συνέδριου. Το συνέδριο ASTUCON παρέχει σε όλους τους φοιτητές της Κύπρου την ευκαιρία να συμμετάσχουν στο συνέδριο είτε παρουσιάζοντας τις δικές τους εργασίες, είτε παρακολουθώντας παρουσιάσεις συμφοιτητών τους και εργαστήρια από καθηγητές, εταιρίες ή άλλους ειδικούς στον κάθε τομέα. Στόχος του συνεδρίου είναι η γνωριμία και η ανταλλαγή απόψεων μεταξύ των φοιτητών που έχουν κοινά ενδιαφέροντα καθώς και η ανάπτυξη συνεργασιών μεταξύ των φοιτητών από όλα τα πανεπιστήμια. Στο Συνέδριο μπορούν να λάβουν μέρος, εκτός από φοιτητές Πανεπιστημίων, μαθητές από τη δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση, καθηγητές της δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης και καθηγητές πανεπιστημίων.

The European Association of Erasmus Coordinators (EAEC) and the European Office of Cyprus (EOC) in cooperation with the Student Activity Club Bodies of Universities in Cyprus announces the 1st Academic Student Conference 2016. The Academic Student Conference is designed to provide a platform for university students to participate in a conference either through presenting their own work, projects, theses, or through attending lectures and workshops, thus promoting a platform for students to share their work/research, connect with other social circles with which they have a shared interests and thus promoting the cooperation between the students from different universities. The conference is expected to enlarge in the long term with the aim to become a Euro-Mediterranean Conference from 2017 onwards.  The main organizer of the conference is the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators (EAEC) with the first host the University of Cyprus. The organizing committee consists of university representatives together with students representing student activity clubs of universities.
